FCL funding supported the development and production of an 18-minute video introduction to the life, work, and thinking of Austrian philosopher Ivan Illich. As a part of this project, FCL fellows Isabelle Cedotti, a visual artist, and Neto Leão traveled the globe to interview six scholars who knew and worked with Illich personally, culminating in a gathering with natural building and community resilience pioneers Bill and Athena Steen at their Canelo Project in Canelo, Arizona.
